This month, the Sift team is excited to bring all of our customers and partners several new key features and improvements in a major platform update. The update includes long-awaited abilities to track how customer segments develop over time, individualized and automated replenishment flows, and a wide range of dashboard design improvements.

We are also introducing new options for managing user access, which can be especially useful if you want to share data insights with suppliers as part of your retail media programs. In addition, we are launching our embedded analytics solution, enabling Sift dashboards inside your own website or internal tools. You will also find our new Instant Dashboard Sharing feature, making it easy to copy, download, or publish charts directly to LinkedIn.

Introducing customer segments tracking
Many of you have asked for the ability to track key customer KPIs over time. For example: Is my group of customers with 3+ purchases increasing or decreasing compared to last year? How many customers have left the champion segment recently, and does this look different for those with and without email consent?

You can now follow the development of lifecycle segments, order cohorts (frequency), churn segments, and RFM segments in two new dashboard elements. If you’d like a walkthrough, just ask us during your next customer success session

Full control with user access management
We are introducing support for different user access levels in the platform. This gives teams more flexibility in how they manage permissions in Sift Lab. For example, you may want to share dashboards with users who should only be able to view insights without making changes.

All existing users have been assigned the Manager role, which means nothing changes in your day-to-day use of the platform. Everyone keeps the same access they have today, and no action is required. If you want to explore other roles or adjust permissions for your team, just reach out to us. We’re happy to walk you through the options or help set up a role structure that fits your workflow.

Instant dashboard sharing
Sharing insights from your dashboards is now much easier. In the dashboard settings, you can press "Enable segment export”, which allows you to copy a chart, download it, or share it directly on LinkedIn.

This makes it simple to highlight key results and communicate insights to stakeholders.

Level up with Embedded Analytics
Our embedded solution allows your users to access Sift Lab dashboards directly inside your own environment, such as a customer, store, or supplier portal. Instead of switching to a separate platform, users simply log in through your website and interact with the Sift analysis there.

The dashboards can be customized to match your existing design, so the look and feel stay consistent with the rest of your site. We are also preparing to launch our first customer on this solution, enabling them to offer an entirely new set of data products to their own users. Embedded is an add-on feature. If you want to explore it for your account or see examples of custom implementations, contact your Customer Success Manager.

Support for Single Sign-On
Sift now supports Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing enterprise-grade authentication using your existing identity provider. SSO is an add-on feature. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you’d like to enable it.

We’re excited to see how these improvements help you get even more value out of Sift Lab!

You can also look forward to plenty of product news in early 2026. We’ll be launching our biggest update to our AI segmentation feature yet and rolling out our new transformer-based machine learning model. We will also introduce the next generation of our AI-agent Sift Sense with MCP support and several time-saving features, along with our new Retail Media Insights platform.
